Financing Your Care


In our office, we offer high quality care and payment options that work for all of our patients. Below you will find a list of insurance and payment options that we accept. Insurance Plans We Are In Network With:

  • Delta Dental Premier
  • Metlife Dental PDP and PDP Plus
  • Cigna PPO
  • Horizon BCBS Traditional, Dental Option, Healthy Smiles Plus & Family Grins Plus
  • GEHA

You do not need to have dental insurance, or be in-network with the office, to become a patient, as long as you understand your financial obligation. 

Dr. Tortora accepts all insurance plans with out of network benefit programs. If we do not participate with your insurance company, we will still submit claims on your behalf, however please contact us if you are concerned about out of pocket costs. We will be more than willing to do a pre-treatment estimate and provide you with your exact out of pocket expenses prior to your appointment.  Please note, it typically take 2 to 3 weeks to get a pre-authorization back from most insurance companies. You do not have to schedule to receive this information. We are more than happy to look into, and explain your dental benefits to you.

 

Payment options:

  • Cash or Check: Always accepted.
  • Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.
  • CareCredit: Apply online (www.carecredit.com) or in our office.
  • Cherry: Apply online withcherry.com or in our office.
  • Proceed Finance: Apply online www.proceedfinance.com or in our office.

Please note: Payment is due at the time of service.

As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance company and track claims. Please keep us informed of any changes to your insurance plan. You are responsible for the fees charged by our office, no matter what your insurance coverage may be. Most insurance companies should respond to the claim within four to six weeks. Any remaining cost is your responsibility.
